| Childs Gallery is currently exhibiting Henry O’Connor: American Cities and Towns, a collection of drawings and prints by the 20th century American artist, Henry Michael O’Connor (American 1891-1975). The exhibition concentrates on O’Connor’s vision of America’s urban identity in the World War I era, especially in terms of its developing commerce and industry. The works are united in their use of architectural subjects as the means to express this vision. The release of the exhibition coincides with the online publication of a catalogue raisonné of the prints of Henry O’Connor on www.raisonne.org. |
