Bartsch 283 i/II. First state of two, before the number. Signed in the plate lower left: "HG. inuent."; inscribed in the plate below image: "Omnia conseruant Eros, Anteros; omnia iungens / Mutuus eterno federe nectit amor. / His sine nec ratio constat, sursum ata diorsum / Omnia voluurtur, nec modus vilus adest." Printed on laid paper trimmed to the platemark. A very fine impression in fine condition, aside from a small paper loss in the lower right.
