Signed in plate lower right: “Piranesi F.”; titled in plate lower left: “Labrum aegyptiacum porphyreticum, repertum inter rudera thermarum M. Agrippae, nunc urna / Sepulchralis Cinerum S. M. Clementis XII. in Basilica S. Ioannis Lateranensis. Operculum / haud efformatum est, quod recens factum, cum Labrum pro urna usurpatum est.” Paper bears watermark (Robison 80), which indicates a paper used until the mid 1830s. A fine impression in fine condition, with full margins.
