Crauzat 289. Signed in pencil and in stone lower right: “Steinlen”. Adhered to paper backing inscribed: “Steinlen / L’apotre / Lithographie originale”. A fine impression on tan paper, in fine condition with full margins. The image was originally intended to illustrate a Romanian poem translated by M. Clarnet: “Empereur et Prolétaire”, but the project was abandoned.
