Dated 1615-1620. Bartsch 55 (280); TIB 55. Plate 14 of 14 from the Passion of Jesus Christ, a series of engravings after the original prints of Lucas van Leyden. Inscribed in plate lower left: “1521” and initaled lower center: “L”. Embossed stamp lower left: “G. Bossi” (Lugt 281), Milan (1777-1815). A fine impression in fine condition aside from repair in upper left corner and slight spots of staining upper left corner, trimmed to edge of image.
