State i/II. Inscribed in plate lower left: “George Morland del.t”; lower right: “J.C. Stadler fecit”; lower center: “London – Published as the Act directs 10 Feb.y 1792 by John & Josiah Boyell No.90 Cheapside”. A fine impression in fine condition aside from 1/2″ tear along upper edge and two 1/4″ tears along lower edge, not extending to image, and a soft crease along the length of right half of image, with margins extending at least 1″ on all sides. Engraved by Joseph Constantine Stadler after a work by Joseph Farington. Sold as a set with two impressions (one colored and one uncolored) of state ii/II of the same print for $1,200.
