From the collection of Professor and Mrs. Daniel Bell, Cambridge MA. 1 of 7 prints featuring a camel patrol of nine Australians starting from a post on the Suez Canal into the desert of Sinai towards Beersheba. The first date after the signature gives the date when the original study was made while the artist was with the Patrol. The date 1919 gives the year of completion and publication. In this print the camel patrol has arrived at its destination.
