One of three pen and ink drawings of figures in boats drawn by Klee towards the end of 1924, and which appear consecutively in his register. The others are in the Zentrum Paul Klee, Bern (no. 1924, 287 in Klee’s register) and in a private Dutch collection (no. 1924, 288 in Klee’s register, J. Helfenstein, op. cit., no. 3661).
