Cricceith Castle is in North West Wales and was built in the late 13th century by Llywelyn the Great. The Castle figured as a prominent location in the Welsh chronicles, the Brut y Tywysogyon, written in 1239.
An impression was exhibited at the Society of American Etchers (formerly the Brooklyn Society of Etchers) Twenty-third Annual Exhibition at the National Arts Club in New York, November to December 1938.
