Royal Academy London 1797 # 206 as “W. [sic] Muller, Painter, Windsor, Portrait of a Bishop. (John Douglas, Bishop of Salisbury).” This is certainly a misreading of “R. Muller.”

Frame: In original late 18th century, 4 1/4 inch scoop gold frame with ribbons and banding at the edges and corners, beading and an inner border of acanthus leaves. 69 3/4 x 55 1/2 inches (177 x 141 cm).
