Hardie 271. Number 19 from an Edition of 80 proofs. Inscribed lower left: “XIX”. Signed lower right: “James McBey”. Signed and dated on plate: “McBey 1934”. On sheet measuring: 11 1/14 and 17 7/8 inches. A fine impression in fine condition aside from slight foxing not extending to the image. From the collection of Professor and Mrs. Daniel Bell, Cambridge MA.

The print depicts the curving coast line of Syria, near Tyre. A group of goats and oxen are accompanied by Arabs in flowing robes in the foreground.
