Rocco.” Inscribed on block lower left: “J: B: Jackson Sculp:&Excudit Venetiis 1739.”; inscribed on block lower center: “Illustrissimo, / et Praeclaro Viro Dno. Dno. / SMART LETHIEULLIER / Eruditae Antiquitatis Studioso / Investigatori, Tabellam banc / JACOBI ROBUSTI in sui / obsequium D. D. D. J: B: Jackson.” A fine impression in fine condition aside from a center line printer’s crease as issued, printed in four color blocks with embossing on cream laid paper, with margins extending at least 1/8 inch beyond image borderline.

After the painting by Tintoretto in the Ground Floor Hall of the Scuola Grande di San Rocco, Venice, “The Slaughter of the Innocents,” 1582-87.
