Dated 1615-1620. Bartsch 46 (280); TIB 46. Plate 5 of 14 from the Passion of Jesus Christ, a series of engravings after the original prints of Lucas van Leyden. Inscribed in plate lower center: “1521” and initaled upper center: “L”. Embossed stamp lower left: “G. Bossi” (Lugt 281), Milan (1777-1815). A fine impression in fine condition aside from verso strengthening at lower left edge and slight spot of staining left, trimmed to edge of image. Ex-collection Michael Berolzheimer.
