Stauffer 541; Shadwell 113. A fine impression in fine condition aside from expertly repaired tears at upper and lower edge, extending 2 1/2″ and 1 1/2″ into the image; with full margins on all sides aside from lower edge, where the paper is trimmed to the platemark.

Illustrated in “American Painting: the First 150 Years” by Wendy J. Shadwell. An impression of this print was part of the exhibition that traveled to 13 museums including the Bowdoin College Museum of Art, the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, and the Smithsonian Institution.
