Hollstein 29 i or ii/III; Bartsch 29. Collector signature on verso: “Naudet / 1780” (Lugt 1938), Naudet was a print dealer who was located at the Louvre, Paris in the late 18th century. He wrote his signature on the better prints that passed through his hands between 1769 and 1810. Verso bears collector’s stamp in blue verso of H. Freiherr von und zu Aufsess (1801-1872), founder and director of the Germanic Museum, Nuremberg, Germany, (Lugt 2750). A fine early impression in fine condition aside from slight staining in upper half and slight thinning verso in the upper right corner, trimmed just within platemark, with complete image borderline on all sides.
