From the collection of the artist’s family. Most likely painted during the period of Talcott’s excursions to Norway (1926-1935), first by canoe and later as the part owner of a 75-ton fishing vessel, the Norkap II. An illustration of the same scene is published in the artist’s book Noravind (1929). Please inquire for condition.
