Provenance: Joseph Pennell to (his wife) Elizabeth Robbins Pennell to T. Fisher Unwin (London Publisher who workd closely with both Joseph and Elizabeth Pennell and who accompanied the Pennells on their 1889 Zermatt Swiss mountaineering expedition.) to (1928) Wayte Raymond (well-known numismatist) by descent in Raymond’s family to Childs Gallery, Boston.
