With the inscription "L'Art", the monogram of the artist and the number "25" in the plate lower left; with the inscription "au Boulevard des Italiens" in reverse lower center; with the title "L'Hiver de 1879 A Paris" lower right; but after the erasure of "Imp. A. Salmon" from the bottom edge. Printed on laid paper with "Van Gelder" watermark. A fine impression in fine condition, aside from marginal toning from a previous mat.
