Morse 268, State iii/IV. Edition of 100. Signed in pencil in lower right: “John Sloan”. Signed in plate: “John Sloan – 33”. Inscribed by Sloan in pencil “100 proofs”, “Nude and [sic] Dressing table” and signed “John sloan”. A fine impression in fine condition aside from old glue stains at the top and bottom edges of the full margins, not extending into the image. This plate was the occasion of Sloan’s writing: “I hope and I almost believe that some day more people will join the artist in liking the nude plates of 1931-33.”
