Rock City, southwest Minneapolis, Kansas, consists of 50 percent or more peculiar boulders. Some are almost perfect spheres with diameters exceeding 12 feet. They are Dakota sandstone concretions with sharply marked stratification. These strange formations with dwarf catalpa trees scattered amoung them cover a field several acres in extent.
