Fletcher 241, ii/II. Edition of 164. Number 31 in the “French Church Series”. Signed and dated in pencil lower right: “John Taylor Arms – 1931 -“; numbered and inscribed in pencil lower left: “Ed 100 II”. Pencil inscription on lower left corner on verso “E 262”; pencil inscription on lower right corner verso “B5”. A fine impression in fine condition, with margins measuring at least 1/2 inch. Ex-collection of John Taylor Arms.

Exhibited: Society of American Etchers, Sixteenth Annual Exhibition, at the National Arts Club (November – December 1931); Thirteenth International Print Makers Exhibition, at Los Angeles Museum Exposition Park (March 1932); “Fifty Prints of the Year”, at the The American Insititute of Graphic Arts, (1932-33).

Awards: “Mrs. Henry F. Noyes Prize”, Sixteenth Annual Exhibition, Society of American Etchers, National Arts Club, New York, (1931); “Carle Blenner Prize: Best Entry”, 50th Annual Exhibition, New Haven Paint and Clay Club, New Haven, CT (April 1950); “Best Print”, Annual Exhibition, Arts and Crafts Association, Meriden, CT (1952).
