Wuerth 7. Edition of 15 signed proofs. Signed in pencil lower right: “Pennell”; inscribed in pencil verso lower right: “1896 / Alhambra / Joseph Pennell / [unitelligible] / De Lux. [unitelligible].”. Signed in plate lower left: “Jo PENNELL”. A fine impression, in fine condition, aside from slight foxing upper half, with margins extending at least 7/8 inches. Printed on sheet measuring 6 1/2 x 10 1/8 inches.

An extra edition of 500 were inserted in a large paper edition of ‘The Alhambra’ by Washington Irving, printed December 1896.
