From the “Land of Temples” series. Beall 913; Wuerth 349. Trial proof before an edition of 50. Signed in pencil lower center: “Jo Pennell”; inscribed: “trial” and “Probedrück”. Signed in stone lower left. Watermark is: ‘Canson & Montgolfier’. A fine impression in fine condition aside from slight toning in margins, with full margins.

One can see the Temple of Jupiter in the middle background and a view of the Acropolis in the far background.
