A fine impression in fine condition aside from brown spot at left of print, full margins. Only one covered bridge remains in Kansas. Spanning Stranger Creek near Springdale in Leavenworth County. The timbers are hand-hewn from trees nearby and laid upon stone abutments. The John Bell covered bridge at Jarbalo near by was torn down in 1938 and two others, one at Easton also spanning the same creek were torn down a few years previously.
