Pompeian green patina. Number 4 in an edition of 12. Signed and inscribed on front right side of base: “De LUE sc 1986 © 1987 4/12 Tx”. Cast at the Tallix Foundry in Beacon, NY. Mounted on Vermont Verde marble base measuring 22 x 12 x 1 1/3 inches. In fine condition.

“Job, as much as any work of De Lue, shows the male torso in repose. De Lue cannot make him emaciated or covered with sores; instead, he focuses his attention on a single star or spiritual point of light for Job to think on God.” – from D.
