Reverse: Sculptor carving figure of Diana. Brookgreen Gardens, South Carolina, honored Donald De Lue by choosing his designs for the Sculptor’s medal, a medal presented to sustaining members of the organization. The designated theme of the medal, the sculptor in the process of creating, was perfectly matched to De Lue’s own iconography, which frequently touched on this subject.
